Not even a single hair April 29, 2007

I simply cannot understand,  and  if I could I wouldn’t. Iran’s president Mahmud Ahmadinejad has approved a new campaign to ensure the use of the chador just to protect women. What a contradiction!!! The main reason is that 85% of agressions to women are because they do not wear the chador or veil properly, or are dressed in an “occidental style”. As a consequence, in just two days 1.347 women were notified by the police that they weren’t respecting the rules. 170 were arrested and the only way to go home was to ask a man of the family (husband, father, brother) to look for you.

What a pity! I thought we were living in the 21st century.  It’s time to guarantee full and equal rights to every single person.

Sex sells… that’s for sure.

If you hadn’t enough last week take a look at that picture Edgar

(http://tesisantitesis.wordpress.com) took yesterday while wandering around Barcelona…

Doesn’t matter what the ad is about, does it?

Tasteless April 13, 2007

I wanted to share with you a pic I took a few weeks ago with my cell. Cubihielo is an enterprise which sells ice cubes to restaurants, hotels and even particulars. Can you see anything… strange?

I have written many posts about the exploitation of the feminine body. It is being used everywhere in our everyday life, and in particular in the media.

That draw is, above all, tasteless… but do you know why? Because it is completely unnecessary… You might be thinking (if you are a man) that it is better than a penguin or an eskimo but… it’s for free.

I don’t want to waste more words on that!

Pim’s April 9, 2007

I wrote a post last year (Feb’06) about the campaign launched by LU (Pim’s). In that tv ad you could see three or four women who tasted Pim’s for the first time, a kind of cookies which made them “rediscover” pleasure. If you wore glasses you wouldn’t be able to see, if you took an ice cube, it would melt…

Now, more than a year later, the campaign has been relaunched but although the images remain the same, they have been postproduced. As a consequence, the advertisement is completely different (in Spain, if you are reading that post abroad please tell us!!) and the slogan is not so far “Ladies, welcome to pleasure”… it has changed and now it is just “Welcome to pleasure”. Please… stop these topics!!! Men can make us feel pleasure too, can’t they?

I didn’t know Negras tormentas had such influence 😉
